This series of oil paintings was inspired from my time working and volunteering at the Hollygrove Market and Farm, located in New Orleans’ Hollygrove neighborhood, where customers often inquired about what times of year particular fruits and vegetables would be available. I thought that making a calendar featuring some of my favorite foods within the months that they can be spotted in farmers markets would be a fun way to help locavores keep track of Louisiana’s bountiful and ever-changing food supply.
Inside of card is blank. Comes with heavy-weight white envelope, packaged in a re-sealable cellophane envelope. I enjoy using these for month-specific birthday cards.
